I started a blog.

So I decided to start a blog. In the last couple years I have found myself, maybe sometimes over-bearing-ly and maybe overstepping-ly but always happily, giving advice to my to-be parent friends about what products I used for my kids and some newbie parenting advice, so here I am, talking to myself on the internet. I have to put down all this miscellaneous information I have aquired down SOMEwhere right?

I'll start out by saying I'm a practical parent that spends WAY too much of her time reading reviews (I'm pretty sure that week I spent reading reviews on diapers was unecessary). When I had my first child, I became kind of a snobby parent but as the years have gone by I have realized that I needed to cut myself and other new parents some slack so I began taking a more practical approach on parenting. I do the best that I can for my kids and for my family.

I am far from being an expert on anything but am the go to gal for baby crap and other junk for my friends and family and they will all tell you that sharing my, bordering on the obsessive, information on babies is what drives me. My co-worker says I'm like wikipedia because I always know the most miscellaneous information (maybe I should go on jeopardy??).

I'm on year 3 of attempting to apply to medical school and if having a 5 year old, a 5 month old, working [nearly] full time and managing life with a husband who travels half the time wasnt enough - I thought going to medical school (and apparently starting this blog) was a good idea.

I'm not sure what exactly I'll write about. If you saw my personal facebook page, you would see a soup of random. I'm hoping this blog will have some focus and direction that will help you (mostly me) navigate the unpredictable waters of parenting.

Now, where do I start? Let me know in the comments!
